Trainer, Coach & Counsellor

Asher has a Master Degree in Counselling from Monash University and graduated with a Computation Honours Degree in Bachelor of Science from University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology.  He is an approved Advance Certificate & Training Assessment (ACTA) trainer, assessor and developer which is accredited by the Workforce Development Agency.   In addition, he is a certified Behavioural Consultant using the unique DISC and People-key Profiling, certificated practitioner of TJTA, and certified trainer of Prepare-Enrich to help individuals and corporations to realize personal potentials and assets within them.  He is a certified coach and facilitator from Church Resource Ministries of Singapore and a certified associate of Emergenetics Asia Pte Ltd.

For the past eleven years, he had been involved in non-profit organizations which gave him the opportunity to travel to South Africa, China, Taiwan and other parts of the world and provide consultation works and training to non-profit organizations in these countries.

He is a professionally bi-lingual (English and Chinese) Trainer, Coach and Counsellor.  Currently, his company, Unleash & Soar, provides Leadership & Life-Skills training, Counselling/Executive Coaching and Human Development Consultation.  His proprietary trainings are:

He conducted “Grow EQ in Workplace” workshops for DBS Bank and team-building (using Emergenetics Profiling) and executive coaching for Schneider Electric SEA Pte Ltd.  His “Unleash Your Power” workshop has been extensively used by a non-profit organization, FCBC.  He is currently an associate trainer for Globibo Pte Ltd for their proprietary leadership and dynamic presentation workshops.   He is also the Course Director for Sage Global Resources (a service and training agency for the World Bank) and an associate of Emergenetics Asia Pte Ltd.  He is a freelance trainer for Mindpower, Lifeskills’ Families for tomorrow, Touch Community Services, FamilyWise, Morning Star Community, and Excellence Edge International.  He is also an active pro-family instructor who conducts parenting talks in schools and communities.  Prior to all these engagements, he was a part-time lecturer for Kaplan, ITEs, Box Hill Institute, Informatics, Dimension Education Group and Mastereign.

One of his core beliefs is to touch hearts and build strong family.  He serves as a lay counsellor at Touch Community Services and is also a marriage preparation instructor.  He is now overseeing 650 volunteers to touch lives around this land.  He is actively promotion family education (parenting talks) in schools and community.
